The Approach
The californian massage technique starts with the body as an integrated expression, enhancing its signals to bring them to light, freeing blocked structures. Loris’ approach involves introducing, before the massage, a sharing from the heart space where the subject can freely express himself by talking about himself.
During this phase, elements may emerge concerning his or her momentary state, both physical and emotional, a particular event or some trauma that had not been addressed and is thus brought to light. By working in the space of the heart, in fact, information is also received on deeper energetic levels of the mental/cognitive, thus achieving denser and more evident results. This work is done in a gentle way, without giving input, but respecting the other person’s time and manner, and trying to facilitate their opening.
This kind of approach, tested and introduced by Loris, has led to intensifying and completing the work of the treatment by adding something more to the Californian massage.
In fact, after years of work and feedback, it is possible to say that sharing has a powerful and fundamental integrative role, and is an effective modality that allows the person receiving the treatment to develop a deep sense of trust and confidence in both their body and life.
Sharing (which lasts about half an hour) is however optional: if the subject does not feel comfortable to go through it, the treatment focuses solely on body work (50 min).
THE BENEFITS
The Californian Massage touches the deepest level of the body-mind system, thus becoming a source of strong self-healing.
It positively affects the healing of psychosomatic problems like depression hypertension, anxiety, stress, anorexia, bulimia, insomnia, panic attacks, and addiction to psycho drugs.
Indeed it has extraordinary beneficial effects on mental activity, emotions and psychical health by moving our attention and energies from the mind to the body with a two-fold effect: on the one hand personal thoughts calm down and find a more appropriate role in the person’s activity, on the other the person perceives the awakening of his psycho-bodily conscience by recovering hidden emotions inscribed in the body’s memory.
A stronger perception of reality is therefore achieved as well as a higher level of self-confidence and an easier acceptance of life. Intimate relationships will be e stimulated and become more successful.
HOW IT WORKS
The physical body and the mental and emotional level are closely connected.
Any psychic discomfort has a direct match somewhere in our body. Likewise, any pain or somatic has a correlation with a conflict on the psychic plane. This also applies to the emotional state. All these planes have a precise correspondence on subtle energy bodies, such as chakras, aura and meridians.
Acting on the energy level means touching all levels of our system (physiological, psychological, emotional) and then activate the healing process through the way of pleasure.
Californian massage is a total approach that aims to release internal energies and circulate them throughout the body, thanks to the elimination of energy and emotional blocks.
